Nominations have been released for the Group 2 Zipping Classic, which will take place at Caulfield Racecourse this Saturday November 12, 2013.
12 horses have nominated for a run in the 2013 Zipping Classic, including Precedence.
Precedence has won 10 of his 55 race starts and has earned more than $1.64 million in prize money during his horse racing career.
After missing out on a place in the Melbourne Cup field by just one spot last week, he went on to win the Group 3 Queen Elizabeth Stakes at Flemington on November 9, 2013.
Precedence is trained by Bart and James Cummings and will be having his second start in just seven days when he runs in the 2013 Zipping Classic.
The eight-year-old has only finished outside the top two on one occasion this preparation and is in the best form of his life going into the 2013 Zipping Classic.
Also included in the 2013 Zipping Classic nominations is Ibicenco.
After his Geelong Cup win two starts back he went on to place 16th in the Group 1 Melbourne Cup last Tuesday.
Ibicenco has won four of his 22 race starts and has earned more than $470,000 in prize money during his career.
Sertorius and Queenstown are also included in the 2013 Zipping Classic nominations.
